Enrolled in a graduate certificate (already a working professional) seeking to upskill in my field. They changed their course schedule, meaning I cannot study what I need to, when I need to in order to complete the cert in a timely manner. The course material is all recorded, if there ever was a lecture on the subject. OLA’s are just reading from slides (screenshots from the modules) and struggle to answer questions about the course material. Assessment instructions range from contradictory to outright misleading.
I wish I’d read reviews before I signed up. Just don’t expect anything amazing. Skills can still be learned from these courses but they’re about as effective as Udemy… but far more costly and time-consuming.

I have studied Civil Engineering but i have talked to other students and its not any better in other degrees, even in Law (which is kind of meant to be top dog).
Its not an educational institution, its monopolistic business. They dont care about quality, safety, acceptability and anything else really, except for your money. Half the tutors and lecturers (even unit coordinators) have barely anything to do with “real world” experience (how this uni really likes to advertise itself). Student support is unreachable, generally they will take 1.5 weeks at least to respond to any of your questions, and would not hesitate to leave your important request all the way until the last day deadline and you would just not have enough time to do it.
Education itself is garbage too, barely learned anything in 4 year degree that i was forced to do as there is no option to do 3 year no more, more study more money. That extra year is so extremely useless. They continuously repeat themselves.
Further more one of the unit coordinators (who is meant to be experienced) kept waiting time on his design of 2m by 2m sun cover that he built (he is meant to have experience in civil engineering field not backyard DIYs). He waisted 2 lectures twice, for 2 different units. And those were 3rd year units about building bridges, not stupid DIYs , no other personal experience was provided from that man = what kind of real world experience does he even have then (and its like that with majority of educators there, they are scholars not civil engineers). Hire cheaper dude make more money.
There is sooo so much more, but i honestly dont want to waist time writing it out/remembering it. Just save yourself and dont go to this uni.
Absolutely disappointing.
