In reply to Padhu.

I agree on you that Australia universities are poor quality but I don’t think it’s from the poor speaking English perspective. Universities education is not primary or secondary school emphasis accent or fluent English, anyone that born in native or India can speak fluent English this is not sth to be proud. Do they have multilingual skills? Understand other languages literatures? How is the professional and industrial experience or research innovation? YouTube den finitely better than most lectures and better than most native lectures. This doesn’t mean that lectures have to be superior than those popular YouTube channel. Australia already have a high standard of English accent if you go to US top universities you will struggle more, I pretty sure a Harvard or other top universities non native English speaking professors speak much poorer than those in Australia

In reply to Graham Mylett.

yeh I am in an Advanced dip engineering course and it is horrible. The lecture content ALONE; Wrong information, horrible formatting so bad that it makes information wrong and confusing explanations. I talked to the director of my cohort and he essentially said we shouldn’t question teachers because they are professionals and that RMIT hasn’t received many complaints. He also apologized that the course “didn’t meet 100% of MY expectations” (my expectations are pretty low I feel I just want the bare minimum) and that my behavior in class wasn’t perfect (what does that have to do with my reasonable complaints with the course) .Anyways I told him to stop the PR speak and actually fix the course, they fixed the one incorrect formula I found nothing else. Lastly this isn’t the only Advanced dip eng course that has had valid complaints.
