If you or someone you know is at risk, or in urgent need of emotional support, there is information on a range of internal and external resources offering support and guidance.

For non-urgent concerns

  • College Support for general welfare issues such as not settling-in, homesickness and any academic or course concerns. College student support team email addresses and telephone numbers will be on the college webpages
  • The student’s GP for health concerns: physical or mental health

If the student is unwilling to access support you can email the Counselling & Mental Health Service at cmh.service@durham.ac.uk or call 0191 334 2200 to speak to a member of staff about your concerns.
