Global Week celebrates Durham's global culture and the positive impact of our research, education, partnerships and global citizenship, all with the theme of 'Culture - Connect - Community'. Enjoy over 70 events taking place in Durham and in locations across the world with our Durham Days alumni celebrations.
Durham Global Week will run from Saturday 1 - Sunday 9 March 2025. It will feature a varied programme of over 70 events for staff, students, and the wider Durham community, all following this year's international theme of 'Culture - Connect - Community'.
The Durham Global Awards, celebrating staff and students whose work and achievements have helped to strengthen Durham's global reputation and culture, will be presented at the Oriental Museum on Friday 7 March. View the Award categories
Durham Days (formerly Dunelm Days), a week-long celebration of our global alumni community will mark the tenth anniversary of the first alumni event. The week will consist of a series of events taking place in 20 countries across the globe hosted by alumni, for alumni, with the support of the Alumni and Supporter Engagement team
There are extraordinary women at Durham. On International Women’s Day, Saturday 8 March and as part of Durham Global Week 2025 we celebrated the women at Durham: sharing their stories and recognising their astounding achievements.
